It is with regret that officials from Midwest Motorsports, Inc. have been forced to cancel the 2018 Midwest Racers’ Expo. The event, scheduled for January 5th and 6th, was to be held in an empty manufacturing building in Byron, IL.

“We visited the building this week, and it became clear to us that it was not going to be conducive to host our event,” commented Midwest Motorsports owner David Deery. “With respect to the consignors, the bidders, and the exhibitors, we felt it was best to not put them into the conditions that this building presented. It was a difficult year in trying to find a location that would provide us the appropriate space and amenities needed. However, we are already looking forward to planning the 2019 Midwest Racers’ Expo, to be held on its traditional early January dates,” concluded Deery.

Midwest Motorsports has served the industry since 1981 and continues to provide a marketplace for short track racing to thrive in the upper Midwest. For additional information please visit www.midwestracersauction.com or email Gregg McKarns at racersauction@yahoo.com.
